Puppy Selection Day and photos 1.We will post an update about the puppies and new photos every two weeks until the puppies are ready to go home. 2.We host a puppy selection day when the puppies are 6 to 7 weeks old so that you can come and choose your puppy based on the order I received your deposit. We try our very best to be accommodating to everyone when scheduling this day but sometimes we can't work around everyone's schedule. If you can't make the selection day you may choose your puppy through photos or we can facetime. Selection day is the day we have set aside to answer all questions about their personalities and characteristics. 3.Please understand that this is the only day that we allow visitors to come and see the puppies. We have a very busy schedule and we set aside this day for that purpose. When the puppy is ready to go home we will meet you to deliver the puppy. No pickups will be done at our home for safety reasons.
Health Guarantee: 1. It will be up to us, the breeders, to decide when the puppy will be ready to go to its new home. Usually at the age of 8-10 weeks, but never before 8 weeks old. The full price of the puppy must be paid by the time the puppy is 8 weeks old. After we have deemed the puppy ready to go home there will be a $10 a day charge to hold the puppy. If another set of shots are due before the puppy goes home an additional $60 will be required. 2. The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. 3. The puppy will be up to date on shots and worming at the time of pick up of the puppy. It is very important that you continue the vaccinations and worming. Please do not expose your puppy to other dogs that are not vaccinated until he/she has completed the entire vaccination schedule - around 16-20 weeks old. If the puppy is not kept current on all vaccines the guarantee is voided. 4. The puppy will have been vet checked and deemed in good health at the time of sale. The buyers have 48 hours to have the puppy checked by their vet and if a problem is found the puppy will be returned to the breeder and a replacement puppy will be provided when available. Getting the puppy back to the breeder is the responsibility of the buyer. If the puppy is not taken to a vet within 48 hrs the guarantee is voided. 5. This guarantee does not include minor illnesses and health issues such as colds, allergies, internal or external parasites or umbilical hernias. However, the breeder will disclose any known illnesses or health issues prior to the sale. 6. The breeder assumes no responsibility for training difficulties or behavior problems. However, support and advice will be offered if needed. 7. The breeder does not guarantee size. We will give the buyer the weight of the puppy’s parents and the weight of other puppies out of that mating. We can give the buyer an educated guess as to full grown weight, but there are too many variables besides genetics. 8. This guarantee does not cover any health issues caused by neglect or injury from the buyer. -It is the responsibility of the buyer to care for the puppy properly and keep it free from harm. Please remember that your puppy must be treated with great care and protected from danger. 9. The breeder does not guarantee fertility. 10. The breeder gives a two year guarantee against any congenital defects of the puppy. If this should occur then the puppy will be returned to the breeder, and the buyer will receive another puppy when there is one available. If transport is needed it will be at the cost of the buyer. Absolutely no monetary refunds will be given at any time. 11. Research suggests that spaying and neutering before 12 months of age adds to the risk of hip and joint problems. Any spaying or neutering before that time voids the guarantee. 12. The breeder holds the right to request a second opinion from a vet of their choice before a replacement puppy is given at the cost of the buyer. Two written documentations from two unrelated vets are required before a replacement puppy is given. 13. If the puppy has not been kept up to date on all vaccines and parasite prevention the guarantee is voided. 14. This guarantee is for the original owners that are listed on the contract and cannot be transferred. 15. If for any reason I am unable to keep the puppy, I agree to return the puppy to Bailey Creek Doodles and not place the puppy in another home unless given permission by the breeder. If puppy is returned within the first 30 days, only half of the purchase price will be refunded after the puppy has been placed in his/her new home. The other half will cover the cost of re-advertisement and keeping the puppy current on vaccinations and worming until the puppy is placed in his/her new home. If the puppy has not been kept up to date on vaccines and wormings or has behavior issues then no money will be refunded. If puppy is returned after the 30 days no money will be refunded.
Let us know before placing the deposit if you are a breeder or plan on breeding in the future. We are not opposed to our pups going to breeding homes but like to be made aware of your intentions.
**Please remember that these are large breed puppies and they should have limited exercise and access to stairs until they are fully grown. They should be monitored closely to make sure they are not gaining weight too quickly and should be kept at a healthy weight. Research has shown that excessive exercise, being overweight, climbing stairs and jumping etc. is a huge contributing factor towards hip and joint problems in large breed dogs.**
